Modmail Logviewer
Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
This policy explains how Modmail Logviewer (the "Service") handles information. The Service is operated by Isla Noctis.
Information We Handle
- Log keys and thread metadata, including Discord user, server, channel, and message identifiers, usernames, avatars, and timestamps.
- Stored thread messages, internal notes, close messages, and attachment URLs supplied by the Modmail database.
- Standard web request information such as IP address may be processed by the host or reverse proxy.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to provide the Service's features described above, maintain service operation, enforce permissions, and address abuse or technical problems.
Storage and Retention
The logviewer reads thread records from the MongoDB database configured by its operator and does not define an independent retention schedule. The database owner controls log retention and deletion.
Sharing
Anyone with a valid log URL can view the corresponding log in the reviewed configuration; no Discord OAuth check is applied by these log routes. Treat log links as confidential.
We do not sell personal information. The policy site itself does not require an account or set a sign-in cookie. The hosting provider or reverse proxy may process standard request information, such as an IP address.
Your Choices and Requests
You can stop using the Service at any time. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information associated with your account, contact the operator at [email protected]. Some records may need to be retained to operate the Service, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
Age and Policy Updates
The Service is not intended for anyone who is not permitted to use Discord under the age requirements applicable to them. We may update this policy by publishing a revised version here.
